For those of you who purchased linens (table clothes + napkins) for your wedding, what was your experience with them and where did you purchase them?

I noticed to purchase them was only $6.50 a piece while renting them is about 17$ a piece, to me it seems obvious that we should purchase them however i have heard that ironing them, is dreadful and the quality isn't great.

However the $10 difference per cloth may be worth the headache!

PLEASE HELP

You can always go into a fabric store and feel them yourself to get an idea if the quality is up to your standard. It is a lot of fabric but muslin white fabric is soooooo cheap, They will probably come in rolls so you don't have to worry about wrinkles, but that's part of why I would recommend going in person.

We opted to pay a bit more for farmhouse tables and opt for no linens just simple lace table runners that rent for $4. Even with the pricer tables it saves us about $15 per table instead of folding tables and linen option - and we don't have to worry about any price adds for "spoiling" the linens during the event.

For specialty table I found some rental options for full linens under $10 and our caterer is providing linen for the buffet line for no charge plus a discount on cloth napkins that match our dusty rose color for $0.45 a piece. So depending on your caterer they might have discounted rates you can ask about.
