Letting your fiance see HMU trials....did you?

Thanks for all of your great input...I'm thinking the same, that my guy will probably be like "looks great" and forgot all about it ( I do wear makeup on a daily just not super heavy and have not had very many formal hairstyles) so that may stand out to him but the full effect that day will hopefully leave a lasting effect!! :+)

He's not allowed to see anything. I have never worn a lot of makeup or had my hair done up around him, so it has to be a surprise. I think it's just as much as the dress. I'm not doing a hair and makeup trial, though, because I'm wearing both in a way I've worn it before.

ETA: he would definitely care if he saw it since I don't usually look like that, and he thinks I should dress up once in a while.

Mine will see, we are going out to dinner that night a few hours after because I'm getting my monies worth and refuse to just sit home when I'm all dolled up LOL He won't remember anyways

FH saw mine. I didn't feel like taking my makeup off and I needed him to get pictures of the back of my hair. I liked hearing his thoughts on what he liked.

I wanted him to see mine because I wanted to know how he felt about it.

I did. He gave me a little feedback, but it didn't take away from our wedding day at all. I still looked completely different all done up at once in my dress. And, he's a guy, he didn't really remember lol.

Yeah I let him see. Only because I wanted his genuine opinion on how the make up and hair looked.

I didn't think twice about showing him because it will look different on the actual day with the dress!

Yes, you should show him because you will look completely different on your wedding day.

I tend to wear a lot of make up on a daily basis, so I don't think he would even notice lol.

I actually just had my trial done yesterday and since my FH and I live together, he saw when he came home from work. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, but he really liked it, and I am 100% confident he will forget what the makeup/style looks like by June haha

I will not be sending him pictures of the hair trial, but he insists that I send him pictures of me after I take it down and it's all curly (he loves that!). Lol

I went home after I got it done so yes he saw. He also couldn't get me into the bedroom fast enough lol so I vote yes show him and you might have a good time

We lived together already so inevitably he was going to see, I wasnt about to wash it all off 10 mins after the time and expense of putting it on. I was glad he saw because he confirmed my suspicion that my makeup was a bit to heavy, and I ended up doing something different with my hair on the day of anyway. I just made sure I took out my hair piece before going home. My DH was the type that didn't want to know a thing about what I was wearing, he didn't even want my dress in the house in case he couldn't help himself and would peek, but the trials are different because you're not all dressed up otherwise, he was just like oh, you look nice! Then we went grocery shopping or whatever. It's totally different from the actual wedding day.

I did not let him see my hair fixed the way it would be on the wedding day. I took it down but still had the curls & extensions when he saw me. I didn't do a make up trial but I wouldn't have let him see that either. I don't wear make up hardly ever so it was a lot different than me every day.

I let him see me. Men are a bit dense and don't remember these things. And also he got to give feedback on if I looked too made up and enough like myself so he wouldn't be marrying a stranger. Hahaha

He wouldn't care and it wouldn't be the full effect but I absolutely want him to be completely in the dark leading up to the very moment of our first look. It's silly, I know, but I only (as far as all future plans are considered and I know sometimes things don't always go according to the way we want them) plan to do this one time and I want to include some surprise because I rarely ever wear make up and my hair is usually up in some sort of ponytail or careless bun. I rarely wear it down and when I do, it's completely straight because it's easier since my hair is naturally straight. So, this feels like a great surprise moment.

FH is going to see mine because I'll obviously be coming home to him the day I get it done. Doesn't really matter to me. So he sees your face all dolled up and your hair all cute....not a big deal

He saw me after mine, but I normally wear a lot of make up so it wasn't a big deal. I would check with him and see how he feels about it .

The only thing my FH won't see ahead of time is the dress.
