Hi all! I'm interested in your wedding theme, if you have one. When I first started planning, I didn't know what, if any, theme I wanted for my wedding. Hi all! I'm interested in your wedding theme, if you have one. When I first started planning, I didn't know what, if any, theme I wanted for my wedding. Then I thought, "I don't need a theme...." and kept going along as I was. Then the other day it hit me: I have a theme, I just didn't know it!! I guess you could call my theme "fairy tale." Not like in Disney, or some cartoon princess theme. Not really that specific. Just fairy tale. As in, this whole experience from reconnecting with my FH after many years of not seeing each other; the fact that he was my first love back in high school, and now we're finally getting married; the things I've been gravitating towards for my wedding decor, invitations, attire, etc., all seems to be centering around the idea of a fairy tale.

I don't have any pictures yet, as I'm still 9 months out. All the pictures are in my head. But I want to see what you all are doing for "theme." Send me your pics, whether you have a concrete theme, or just a vibe you are going with.

Our theme for the wedding is based off Darker Jewel tones with pops of bright bold metallic colors incorporated into it. We are trying to create a very Lush and fun atmosphere with lots of floral, textures and patterns. Lots of uplighting and Big bold pieces to bring it all together. We want to create an experience not just a wedding.

Ours is lightly themed, but we're having our reception at a brewery (we're totally a beer couple). So the centerpieces are growlers from different breweries we've been to and our catch phrase is "love is brewing"

We are getting married on Halloween 2020. Instead of the kitchy/cheesy Halloween theme, we are doing a harvest colored “gothic” style. Black wedding dress, lanterns, some pumpkins. The colors are black, plum/burgundy and burnt orange. I made the bridesmaids lantern “bouquets”. 😊🖤

Our theme is a literature based theme, I’ve always been a book lover so I thought it’d give it the hopeless romantic vibe in our wedding. The colors are dusty blue, sage green, and gold! We plan on having gold bands so I chose gold being the accent color. Plus, I love blue and he loves green.
