We are thinking of

The Bride Recommends a Caramel Apple Martini

The Groom Recommends a Signature Mojito

Does it seem weird to have two sweet things? We just each picked out favourite cocktails.

We are having signature drinks, just a play on our own personal favorite drinks.

His: Peter's Prickly Pear Margarita tequila, cointreau, cactus pear and lime juice.

Mine: Ini's Cosmotini (My nickname in my family is Ini) vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice and a splash of grenadine.

Our reception is non-alcoholic, but we will have signature drinks for our after-party! We are brewing a toasted coconut stout and a saffron spiced mead (metheglin) (honey wine).

For our reception, we will be having a turquoise berry lemonade, and orange-ade...and infused waters.

FH came up with the idea for ours, which is called the Peace Hill Painkiller. We got engaged on Peace Hill in St. John, VI and the Painkiller is the "official" drink of the Virgin Islands. I also kinda of want to do the "bride recommends" and "groom recommends" drinks as well with a Mai Tai and Dark & Stormy, respectively, since we have a tropical theme.

We are thinking of having an "open bar" including beer, wine and 3 cocktails. unsure of what they will be yet. Jamie- yours sounds delicious! Will have to keep that in mind Smiley smile

DH loves vodka, so we've decided to serve several signature drinks during the cocktail hour which use vodka. We're trying to have something for everyone. This is what we have so far:

    Cran Razzy (low calorie)

    Ghost (my mother's favorite martini)

    Dirty Mary

Cuppa Joe Martini (for coffee lovers)

    Smirnoff No. 21 Pomegranate Martini

    Ciroc Lola

German Chocolate Martini (for the chocolate lovers)

    Smirnoff White Grape Cosmo

    Smirnoff Passion Fruit Punch

    Caribbean Martini (my favorite drink)
