Hi All- What was your type of bustle and why did you choose it? At what point in the wedding does a bride bustle the dress, after ceremony, for first dances? Anyone have a ruffled skirt wedding dress and what type of bustle did you choose?

Not sure yet, but I will add extra buttons for security. My first wedding, my dress was stepped on and 2 buttons broke, and the bustle barely stayed up.

I've seen most dresses bustled right before the "grand entrance" so after ceremony and all pictures

I had my dress bustled after all of our pictures were taken and before the reception which was at a different location. We stopped briefly at my mom's house.

Mine is something like this. I wanted it really simple since I plan on changing into a different dress after the cake cutting. I had this picked out and then when I went to my first fitting this is what the seamstress suggested. Meant to be!

This is the best pic I have of mine, dancing with my dad. It was a french bustle with 3 ties underneath and 1 for the lace overlay.

I can't remember what kind of bustle they are doing on my dress. I'm going to bustle it before we do our first dance after we take all of the pictures
