They charge per person, so the won't drop the price overall, but we could put that funding towards another add-on charge. I'm hoping we can use it to pay for the light draping I wanted and the two comfier chair rentals for me and my partner!

Ooh, I'd love to talk cake! We had a lemon cake with lemon filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was a very subtle lemon flavor, so it was perfect. We just recently had our anniversary, and our cake lady made us an anniversary tier since we didn't save the top of our cake (we used it the next day for the brunch thing my sister threw for us).

For our "groom's cake," we had a candy bar instead. It was hubby's idea, but I loved the idea as well.

We're doing a two tier cake for just us, the bridal party, and the bridal party's SO. My FH picked a carrot cake with pineapple mousse filling for his tier, and I picked banana cake with vanilla and strawberry mousses for mine. It honestly worked out so perfectly because I thought we'd only be able to afford one tier but two was still in our budget, so FH got to pick his favorite and I got to pick mine.
We're doing the Birchwood tree design with the leaves from the second cake.
My favorite part about the bakery is they make a fresh one tier cake for your first wedding anniversary for free!!!We'll have a dessert table for everyone else with cakes and candies and other things.
