Alright ladies (& gentlemen), let me see your venues! What made it THE venue for your special day? We chose a vineyard in the N.C. mountains. We loved all the elements it provided (the vineyard, the 2 creeks, the barn). It was perfect & really captured us as a couple!

We chose a vineyard in the N.C. mountains. We loved all the elements it provided (the vineyard, the 2 creeks, the barn). It was perfect & really captured us as a couple!
My dream venue would’ve been more of a nature scenic view but those are kind of far or out of what we would like to spend and not worth it. I did find some place that still made my heart flutter when I first saw it and was all inclusive so much less of a headache!!! You wild never know it was in a strip mall plaza lmao. Here are random photos online:

It's ok. I'd rather wait another year and have all my family and friends attend then cut my list down. This just means I have more time to plan and buy even more things lol.
Your venue is gorgeous! Our venue is a non profit organization which is a plus. They offer DJ and catering which we've already booked and finalized and they also offer all of their decor for free! We're going tomorrow to pick some out.
They also have a game room and lounge that includes two tvs (one for PS4 and the other just to watch) so that's cool in case any of the kids (or adults )need a break or get bored lol. I'll probably be there at some point myself lol.
We will have our first look/couples photos done at a different location which is about 10 mins or so away from the venue. It was our original location but we could only afford their elopement package with up to 30 guests. Our new venue we have about 150 on our finalized list.

We are getting married at Salem Cross Inn in MA - I knew from the minute I walked in and smelled their home style cooking and the 1700's decor this was our place. The pictures don't do it justice - there's a loft in the barn too for additional seating.
We’re getting married at a winery in coastal Virginia. Originally we wanted to get married outside but November is so touch and go here that we went with just the indoor space. You can’t see the stairs in the ceremony space picture but that’s what started the wheels in motion for me. It was like a movie playing in my head. The first picture is where the ceremony will take place and the second is where cocktail hour and the reception will happen. The decorations in the pictures aren’t ours.
