The crystals remind me of shimmering stars. I will share a picture of mine once I can take one. It's a cathedral (or chapel? One of those longer lengths lol), though I'm debating whether to have it shortened to around floor length or not. I will be wearing the hair piece in addition to my veil. I think I'm going to wear my veil through the formal reception events and then remove it, but I will wear the hair piece all night!

View Quoted Comment Well that is one of the great benefits of purchasing an inexpensive veil on Amazon- if you decide it’s not for you, you aren’t wasting a ton of money! If you get a hairpiece, you can also decide what you want to do the day of your wedding – veil or headpiece or both!

This is a stock photo of my veil. I ordered It in ivory, fingertip length from Amazon for $15 and it’s gorgeous. I had the floral comb custom made to match my bouquet and also had a matching boutonnière made for my fiancé. I would like to wear the floral comb and veil separate but I’m not sure how It will work so I might have my seamstress attach the veil to the floral comb. The last picture is a visual I made with my shoes, hair piece and dress to see the details and I’m in love!

View Quoted Comment I absolutely love custom pieces that are made to fit your unique vision/aesthetic! And I think it would definitely be easy to switch out the veil for the flowered comb after your ceremony- you would just need to pull the veil comb out and replace it with the flowered comb.

View Quoted Comment Sure! So my dress isn't your typical wedding dress because I struggled finding one that fit my vision. I’m having a summer brunch wedding at a winery so I wanted something light and flowy. I fell in love with a discontinued dress from Lulus, hunted it down on Poshmark, and had a custom train made off Etsy that I can remove after the ceremony.

View Quoted Comment Thank you!!! The designer had the lace pattern on a veil and I couldn’t stop looking at it because it was so beautiful and unique. When she sent the the video of my completed train I cried. It definitely changes the look of the dress entirely!

I knew from the beginning I wanted a cathedral length veil, luckily the dress I chose had one that matched! I also got the headband I have on. It’s silver and sparkly little branch looking things lol .( sorry it’s been 4 months since I’ve seen it)

I bought a veil but I don't think I'm going to wear it...I got this hair piece and matching earrings I'm going with. It's got a blue tint so that's going to be my "something blue".
