Thank you so much 🤗 I’m really excited how they turned out! I’ll wear these earrings that I have already. They match perfectly & were Valentine’s Day gift from my FH, so they’re extra special to me 😍

These are seriously amazing. My diy skills aren't so great. I also haven't thus far really done much diy but I sure wish I had your skills

We have done all the flowers, the boutonnieres, I'm planning on making my dress unless I can actually find one that'll fit my largeness, and planning on making signs for the foods and stuff like that. We are also making the food ourselves and the cakes...except the vegan cakes because that's something my sister is doing because that way she knows everything is all good with that.

They were just plain white satin shoes and I really had my heart set on yellow ones so I took a risk and hand-dyed them myself

So, I found myself drawn towards rose gold for my headpiece, and wanted a "halo" is what my stylist calls it, but the ones I liked that encircle the whole head were upwards of $150. I just couldn't see spending that much on something i will literally wear once in my hair.

So I came across the wedding belts on Amazon that have ribbon ties in the back. I found one I loved and bought it for $14.

I snipped the ribbons off then used wire cutters to cut off the little metal square loops on each end of the "belt".

After that I took the metal combs (also bought off Amazon 2 for $5 & my stylist wanted the ones with bendy teeth) and used gorilla glue ($5 @ walmart: -make sure you get the clear one that DOES NOT expand) to place a thin line of glue on the back of the head piece then pressed the front of the combs to it. This glue is also a fast setting one so I waited about 30 minutes then wrapped with copper wire. I ran the copper wire in between the stones so it was not noticeable. Then I let it sit untouched for 24 hours while it finished curing.
I got the wire also off of amazon for I think $3.
So, the whole project cost under $30.

I'm having my bridal portraits done on 6/22 so I guess we'll find out then if it works or not.

I know I had a bunch of people saying I should take it out but my FH and I are, well, funny people and we liked it so there it is.

How did you get the wording on the back of the robes? I found some robes I like and was thinking about doing the wording myself.... if I can figure out how.
I've also had a hard time finding "matron of honor".
