Lets EAT, drink and be married

Love Is Real, on September 23, 2013 at 11:56 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 41

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I'm very interested in everyone's food choices.

What dishes are you offering?

We had passed appetizers for cocktail hour: Miniature Pimento cheese cones, miniature chicken salad cones, shrimp cocktail shooters, sushi-spicy tuna rolls & California rolls.

Family style dinner: Slow roasted prime rib, Baked fried chicken, vegetarian lasagna, grilled vegetables (mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, squash), roasted potatoes, wheat dinner rolls

Dessert: Cake balls (chocolate, cookies-n-cream, lemon, strawberry)

Beverages: Punch, sweet tea, lemonade, water & coffee

Our families are very spiritual and religious, so we did not serve any alcohol, beer, or wine. And out of respect for our parents, we toasted with sparkling punch.

Cocktail Hour: Open Bar- 16 Top shelf liquors, 3 beers, 3 wines all mixers, etc.

    meat and cheese trays

Dinner: BBQ (they can get buns and cheese if desired)

    Pulled Pork

    Pulled Beef

    Chicken Breast

    Sides:

    Garden Salad

    Cheesy Potatoes

-Plus, we paid per person not per plate so everyone has 2.5 hours to visit the grill and they can eat as much as they want.

Then we have a cookie bar for desert and wedding cake!
