Length of hoop skirt?

I have never worn a hoop skirt (yet!)

I did some google and did find a couple of articles that may help.

It looks like it's supposed to fall just above the ground.

Does the store where you purchased your dress sell hoop skirts? They may be able to give you some advice on the perfect one to suit your height.

Do you have any alterations to make? If so, your seamstress would be a great resource to help get the best dress hoop. You could purchase one and bring it to your next fitting.

What is the neckline like on your ball gown?

How are you accessorizing?

Instead of a hoop skirt (I had a hard time finding one of good quality when I was looking) can you buy a ball gown slip from David's Bridal ($90 I believe you may be able to find one similar elsewhere for cheaper) that has tulle to lift the skirt and make it seem fuller. This would make a huge difference. also a seamstress would need to hem your dress and the slip so that you do not trip when you walk

I am going to have a silver tiara with matching silver jewelry. My heels have silver rhinestones too. 😍 and then a French manicure I believe!
