Late Night Snack

EmeraldBride, on March 28, 2021 at 5:58 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15

What did you decide to go with for your late night snack? We have the following near us: Taco Bell, Little Caeser's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, Subway, McDonald's, and several restaurants (2 that do delivery). Kind of leaning towards Taco Bell party boxes or Little Caeser pizza's and crazy bread..

Our venue requires us to use their caterer, so we're considering doing pizza as a late night snack through our venue!

At the reception? Our caterer is doing a coffee/tea station with stuff like pretzels, cookies, brownies, marshmallows.

If your venue allows outside catering, just keep in mind which foods will still be good after sitting around for a period of time (between delivery and sitting on display) - foods like tacos and fries get soggy after like 5 minutes!

As a guest, either one would make a great late night snack! Can’t go wrong with tacos or pizza, in my opinion Smiley smile

Based on what you lusted, I would go with pizza because everything else starts to change in flavor and texture if it’s not eaten right away. Otherwise, I would go with your on site catering to create cute late night snacks. Maybe they can create something like a taco bar so that the items are fresh.

We’re having chocolate covered toffee (which I just picked up) as a snack.

Du way if it’s gonna sit out. Can the hotel/caterer do sliders or breakfast burritos and serve them hot/fresh?

My guilty confession... I'm more excited for my late-night pizza delivery at our reception than I am about the plated dinner Smiley tongue

In that case, I would skip the fancy catering and have favorite restaurants deliver for the main meal.

I would personally go with pizza! It's a crowd favorite and it's less messy than taco bell anyway

Actually it’s a strategic move haha the pizza is to put something in everyone’s stomach if they have been drinking before they head out for the night or for any out of town guests to bring back to their hotel rooms Smiley smile Our favorite restaurant is catering the plated meal as well as delivering the pizzas late-night!

We have to use our venue, but this is such a cool and fun idea! As a guest, pizza or Taco Bell sounds like Heaven after a night of drinking and dancing!

Our venue is providing late-night snacks, as they're also providing the dinner and the cake. We're having mini cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, and fries. I think there might be mini Italian beef sandwiches as well. If no one is up for that, there's an ice cream shoppe next door.
