Late night snack-pizza?

Hello! We are doing the traditional sit down dinner, but when I go to weddings, after dancing the night away, I have to stop for food on the way home. I was wondering how you all would feel as guests if pizza (not dominos/pizza hut, but authentic pizza), was delivered later in the evening. Checking...

Hello! We are doing the traditional sit down dinner, but when I go to weddings, after dancing the night away, I have to stop for food on the way home. I was wondering how you all would feel as guests if pizza (not dominos/pizza hut, but authentic pizza), was delivered later in the evening. Checking to see if this is a good idea or if it would just be more of a waste of money. We are of course doing cake, but I find that I'm still hungry even after that haha. Thanks in advance!

    I used to work at a fancy hotel that did a lot of DWs. Nearly all of them had pizza delivered between 10 and 11 from a local pizza place that is known for their good pizza. It was always a huge hit. (And these were definitely big budget brides/fancy weddings.)

    Soooooo now all I want is pizza. Pizza everywhere. Thanks for all of the advice! Looks like we will have pizza and I'm guessing with an open bar all night long something to soak up alcohol is never a bad idea! I'm just always hungry personally!

    If I went to a wedding that served late-night pizza, it would easily bring that wedding up another 10 notches in my book. Love the idea!

    I love it!!! I didn't even think of guests getting hungry again.

    What is everyone's dinner time? I guess I imagined folks being super stuffed, but I love the idea. Gonna keep following this thread to hear more!!!

    Pizza between the hours of 10:00pm - 1:00am is always an amazing idea. Actually, pizza between the hours of 12:00am - 11:59pm is also a good idea!

    I agree with you havin a snack, im always hungry after weddings. At my wedding were having popcorn...cheap and satisfying.

    I'd vote for grilled cheese, or mini ones. After a night with alcohol, I'd stay away from anything spicy (pizza sauce), to avoid any digestive unpleasantness. My husband, whose had years of acid reflux problems, agrees.
