Last Day to RSVP

I'm not married, and we have a few more days, we only need 34. But I was also told that many people wait to the very last moment. I said something to a friend that I know is coming because she got her ticket, and she said, I've got it, just waiting till the 16th. I don't get why. Not like the food choices are that phenomenal.

We got more over the last few days than the week or two prior. However, we did end up having to call about 1/4 of our guest list. I waited a few days after the deadline because some people mailed it on the date on the RSVP.

My only rsvp options were online or by phone. i decided not to have the traditional mail ones, because i wasted about $100 in stamps on shower rsvp cards and only 3 people mailed them back. i had to call everyone else. so i decided not the waste my money.

We're missing about 20, but still have some time to go. There seem to be two problems. One is that people wait until the last day, and the second one is that some people assume that you *know* they will attend so why bother sending the card.

Jessica: I'd wait a few days and then appoint somebody to call the people who have not RSVP'd. I'm having my dad call those who have not RSVP'd for my wedding when I get to that point. Personally, I wouldn't be so stressed about it but having gone through my brothers wedding where people not only did not RSVP and showed up, but did not RSVP and show up with their kids and their kids friends...a phone call in my case is necessary! lol

We're missing about 12. Our final check is due September 16th so we plan to start calling the stragglers after Labor Day.

We're still missing 10! We had 85 2 weeks ago, so we're getting down there. Making seating charts tomorrow so those that didn't respond to phone calls will be assumed not coming. Getting too close to the wedding to chase people down and our final count and payment is due on Tuesday. Can't believe we are almost there!!

Our final head count is due 9/2 so we cant wait a few days to start calling people. im not worried, it just has to be done.

Today is also my last day and im waiting on 16 people so about 8 households. Im pretty happy with that.

I hate when they don't RSVP. All they gotta do is take the 10 seconds to fill it out and put it in the mailbox for pick up. Is it that hard??

It's going to be a few hour job....so I take it you're doing it Sunday? I would split them up between you, MOH, and FH so you're not on the phone forever.

Dang, 64 people is 1/2 of my guest list, you must be having a large attendance.

We invited 190 and were hoping for 150. hopefully we get there. at 125 so far. still some people to call.
