Last Dance Song?!

I know it's been voted the most hated song by bartenders, but I LOVE don't stop believing by Journey. I was at a party a few years ago and they played this as everyone was walking out, and everyone was just belting it and having a great time. I want that.

Purple Rain by Prince. it was epic. my other favourite last song pick is Hey Jude by the Beatles--i was at a wedding a few years ago where that came on and it turned into a massive singalong. so much fun.

My fiance is a huge Pearl Jam fan. They have a song that they end most concerts with, I think it's Yellow Ledbetter. We are going to end the wedding with that song.

I'm not even sure. Should I go upbeat or slower for the last dance?

We're doing this song too! I agree it's so perfect for the last song. Plus FH and I love the movie. haha

My H wanted our last song to be that song from Trolls by Justin Timberlake, Can't Stop the Feeling (?), but we didn't get the party atmosphere we were expecting, so we didn't dance to it. The very last song the DJed played for the night is one of my favorite songs, Ben E. Kings "Stand By Me". That was more special to me than our first dance song.

We were the last among our friend group to get married, and we ended with 'Don't Stop Believing.' We still had 75% of our guests, and everyone flooded the dance floor for that song. They even begged for one more song at the end! It's a great song for all ages!

Hit send too early. We loved dancing to Stand By Me more than dancing to our first song because there were less than a handful of people left, and it was like yep it's over and we survived 😂

FH are huge fans of "Love Actually". We watch it every Christmas. So our closing song will be "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys.

We're doing our "other" song, lol. I'm walking down the isle to a piano version of Keeper of the Stars by Tracey Byrd (it's country, but we LOVE old country) and so our last song will be the actual original version of that. The first time FH will see me is to that song, and the last time he and I dance together at the wedding will be to that song.

I never heard of this as a thing before! But the first one that comes to mind is "closing time" by semisonic, partially because it's been a running joke from some of our friends and then our theatre company. It's the last song that we play when we want people to leave the theatre. It's always a fun song with my friends.

We want "Take Me Home Tonight" as our final song before we love, but we also want one last slow song right before that.. still deciding on that, but I'm leaning toward "Stand by Me"

XO by John Mayer is what we chose. It’s not cheesy sweet but it’s just right!
