Hi, I was wondering if the lasso is taken off before the bride and groom kiss? Also, if it can solely be place on one arm/shoulder? I have 2 veils one is very very long longer than cathedral length and since my godparents won’t be at rehearsal, I am nervous for my veil to be pulled when placing the lasso. I don’t have family to ask unfortunately, most of mine is deceased and my mom does not recall how it can be done. Thank you!

Hey Suzette! I would definitely recommend you speak with the officiant/priest/deacon to see how this would be approached, and if there is a way to tweak it to avoid it pulling on your veil. I’m sure they will be able to assist and clear up and confusion
