Do you think lasagna is too "messy" to serve at a wedding, or, in my case, vow renewal?

Nope. Thats what we are serving. It was served at another wedding I went to and I dont recall any issues of it being too messy.

Are you worried about it being too messy for you? I know I was too excited to eat a bite, so I wouldn't worry about it. As for everyone else, I see no reason not to serve it-- I love lasagna!

No as long as people know how to use forks. If you said wings I'd say yes, or maybe even spagetti but lasagne is great.

I say no but I'd personally have it seated served. That way the portions are small enough that no one drops anything in the process of getting it onto their plate...or the table...or themselves.

I love lasagna and personally, I don't think it would be messy at all. Just provide napkins and you should be fine
