Las Vegas Wedding transportation questions

What's the distance between the venue and the hotel? Do you have guests flying in for the wedding who won't have their personal vehicles with them?

About 16 miles, yes we will...I know there's taxis and ubers...but I'm wondering if it would be better to have transportation lined up

Depending on where you are having your wedding, some hotels may provide transportation. Also, Lyft and Uber have good rates for group transportation.

I agree...I've been leaning towards that instead of getting a shuttle...since I don't know who would use it or not. But I'm wondering how to put it on the website? Should I mention here are options to getting around las vegas? etc? Or just let them fend for themselves?

I would let them know what options there are because in some cities (like my home town in rural San Diego), you can't get a reliable Lyft or Uber. On our website FAQ we said,

Will you be providing transportation to the venue from any of the hotels listed under Local Accommodations?

We will not be providing transportation to and from the venue. If you are traveling from out of state, make arrangements ahead of time. (Uber & Lyft are very popular in Vegas!)

I really went back and forth about this. My wedding venue told me it is easier to get uber or cab transportation from the strip to the venue, but not as easy from venue to strip. They may have to wait a long time is what I was told.


So my family is figuring out how to get there. They already have a plan. I have been working with http://www.luxurylimousineoflasvegas.com/
Alberto is great, but just know they have wiggle room to adjust prices. I got different quotes and they were by far the cheapest and threw in stone champagne. Their prices include tax, gratuity, and gas, which is sweet!!
