Lace table runners

PrissiePants, on July 31, 2019 at 10:40 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7
The overall look of my wedding is vintage shabby chic. Very soft and romantic, lots of lace and vintage pieces. And I am buying most things and reselling it afterwards, including my linens.

I have purchased my tablecloths and napkins for my reception. The tablecloths are 120 inch round in mint and the napkins are navy.
I had originally wanted to put a 90 inch square lace overlay on the tables. But I can’t seem to find that size overlay for less than $15 each. And since my tablecloths were $7 each, I just can’t seem to get on board with spending that on overlays.
So the wheels in my head have been turning.
I ordered these pretty lace “table runners” off eBay for 1.50 a piece to use as chair sashes. The first batch of them came in and I love them so much.
So now I am considering buying rectangle lace tablecloths off eBay and using them as a table runner like in the picture below. I have been able to find those on eBay for pretty cheap, I’m hoping to get them for about $5 each.

What do do y’all think? Has anyone else used lace tablecloths as a runner?

Agree with Melle! I've seen table cloths work great as runners

I adore these lace table runners. I think it looks awesome!

What are you thinking of doing for centerpieces? Would they work with them?

I actually did a mock up of my centerpieces this week with some grocery store flowers. A simple glass terrarium with baby’s breath, a rose bud and a candle.

This is so pretty, and will totally go with the lace runner!

Is there a hole in the top of the glass to allow oxygen in so the candle won't extinguish?

Yes. I found them in the target patio clearance a few weeks ago. They’re a little different from the standard hurricane or bowl
