Lace on wedding dress

I have my wedding dress but the lace on the neck part was causing it to turn a little red from the rubbing. Is there anything I can do to put on my skin or soften the lace?

Ask your seamstress to line it with something so it wont be as itchy. Some of my beading does little scratches on my skin and so my seamstress is doing that.
