Hello! Not sure who needs to hear this, but if you’re in the process of dress shopping and are a fan of lace, just note alterations can get pricey! No one warned me so I thought I would let others know. When hemming the bottom, due to the intricate lace, the options were to cut it off and have it frayed or remove the lace and move it all up 4 inches. The latter being more expensive than the first option. Just a heads up if you’re also a fan of lace!
I guess it also depends on the type of lace your dress has as well. My dress was also lace and had to be hemmed a little, but I did not have this issue.

Well that sucks. Girl all the hidden fees of wedding planning lol.
That is such a beautiful dress - but definitely a huge hidden cost!! I've heard this can be common based on the hem of the lace, but that sometimes if there's a defined waist they can take the extra length up from the waist instead of off the bottom.
