I've been trying to ignore it, but every time I look at them I get so sad. When we went last weekend to get the rest of my stuff for my dress, I looked great, until I looked down at my feet. Fleas the last couple years in Central Texas have been HORRID!! Las year we tried everything, this year we are hiring a pest control company. The problem is I have a reaction to their saliva and itch like CRAZY!! Then they turn into little blisters and pop. Either that, or if they are super deep, they leave these brown/purple spots. I spent last summer drugged out on Benadryl. Now I have discolored spots all over the tops of my feet and ankles from these little 8*$&@&%$!! My daughter says just to wear stocking, which I already planned on doing, even though it's not really me. But I' worried they might show through. Any other ideas??

    I love me some Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. You can layer it on for more coverage. But applying is tricky to make sure you don't get streaks, so practice a few times!

    They make body makeup to cover up scars and tattoos. I would use that in the short term and try bio-oil or merderma as others have mentioned.

    What about getting a long crinoline/slip/etc that covers your feet (outside of another dress that is about your only option in the dress dept)? Or shoes that have more coverage? Honestly I have had major surgery and found that the best thing to help with scars is cocoa butter (try Jason brand lotion) but no matter what you use it does take a while so if your wedding is coming up soon and it really bothers you then covering it is about all you can do.

    @HouseofAllen,

    You KNOW when it's fireants vs. fleas.

    I too am allergic to fleas and just got back from a central tx visit, and my feet are torn to shreds.

    I would use concealer, honestly.
