KWR: anyone else planning an extreme post wedding chop?

I always have donated my hair every 2 years like clockwork.... Well since I've been growing it out for my braided updo It has reach mermaid status length. Thing is, I hate wearing it down and always have it up in a high bun when it could be doing someone else some good. I'm planning, on the day...

I always have donated my hair every 2 years like clockwork.... Well since I've been growing it out for my braided updo It has reach mermaid status length. Thing is, I hate wearing it down and always have it up in a high bun when it could be doing someone else some good. I'm planning, on the day after the wedding, to cut it in a shaved side pixie cut like below and I am so freaking excited! Anyone else doing something a bit extreme?

    I am! I've been growing it out for the wedding, and I am about done with it. It's the longest it has been in years. The longer my hair gets the more it ends up in a bun too. FH is a little sad I'll be chopping it off since he like it longer, but he's okay with it. My FFIL apparently is the one who is really sad I'll be chopping it off. Did not expect that.
