For our registry we are definitely going to register at Bed Bath and Beyond, but then we are debating between Kohl's and Target. FH wants to register at Bass Pro Shop but that's a whole other story. So between Kohl's and Target which do you think works better for a wedding registry? I do like how Kohl's always has stuff on sale so my guests could get a good deal.

Target. I hate shopping at kohls for registries. I feel like they never have stuff in stock and when they do, it seems pretty over priced. I've always found what I needed for registries at target.

We had the exact same thoughts! We registered at BBB and then wanted to choose between Kohl's and Target. The thread recently about the Kohl's return issues put the nail in the coffin. Plus we want to register for some things like tools that are better found at Target.

I'd say Target too out of those two choices. Bass Pro could be fun if FH is into it. We wanted home depot or Lowes but they didn't do registries anymore Smiley sad

I'd say target. I've never been much of a kohls fan because if it isn't on sale the stuff is way over priced

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the Kohl's wedding registry. When people purchased items off the registry, it wouldn't sync online with our account. So in the end, we wound up receiving numerous duplicates of all the basic items (at least 4 sets of cutting boards, 5 sets of silverware, multiple sets of mixing bowls, etc). However, when we went to return them, we didn't have receipts for all the gifts, and they would only give us back the lowest amount that item has sold for. So in the end, we were walking away with significantly less than what people had spent on our gifts. The entire return process was a nightmare. Although Kohls had a lot of items we wanted, they really need to work on improving the system before couples use it. We wound up with a lot of frustrations after getting married - and a closet full of duplicate items to be returned. In the end, we wished we had just registered solely at Bed Bath & Beyond, where they simply needed your registry number and they could process returns in less than 5 minutes - and you receive back exactly what your guests spent.
