I went with a friend when she got her dress. Unless you want a pnina tornai and want to drop thousands more on a dress that you can find at a small shop for cheaper, go for it. You can basically find most of the dress they sell for cheaper elsewhere, it is a small store, and the experience is all for the show. My friend was left alone most of the time and we were shoved into a back corner of a store. The only reason we got moved out into the main show room like you see on the store is because she wanted a $15,000 dress and her mom told her she could have it if it was the one. The second the consultant heard that the budget had gone to unlimited we got treated a lot better. They also are extremely limited on larger sizes.

My mom wanted to go there for me to look at dresses and I had no interest what so ever to 1. drop that kind of money on something I am only going to be wearing for a few hours and 2. After going there with my friend I was completely turned off from the store.

I'm only a 45 minute drive into the city and wouldn't spend that kind of time or money (on gas and tolls or the train) just to go to a shop I saw on tv. Find somewhere closer to you that has a decent selection of plus size dresses
