Kay’s Ever Us E-ring

Went and bought my wedding bands yesterday to go with my Ever Us E-Ring. For those who do not know, the collection has been discontinued and bands no longer exist. I’m satisfied but the experience was disappointing overall. The sales consultant insisted I needed a custom band only.. and I said yeah that’s not in the budget. So he showed me a few options.. suggested I TRADE in my engagement ring for a set. Uh no.. but I ended up getting two bands to solder to it that look nice. Still came out at a decent price... but it changes the entire look of my ring. Wish I took a photo lol If anyone has a ring from the Ever Us collection, I promise it’s possible to find an affordable match. I’m going to have them soldered together before the wedding, and have FH give me the set during the ring exchange. Once I get them both back I’ll share a photo.

    Have you looked at Kay’s online and Kay’s outlet online? They have pieces that are cheaper than in the store and older pieces.

    If you like the way the two bands changed the look of your ring, then great! But if not, you definitely don’t HAVE TO have a band. You can keep your original ring as is, minus any additions.

    I have looked online, but I wanted to try some things out in person. I should have been smarter and found what I wanted then bought it online.

    I do like the way it looks! I wish I could have seen them all together though. They only had 1 of 2 bands in store, so I won’t see all 3 together until the second one comes in. Worse case I can always back out of the second one as I haven’t paid for it until it comes in. I also considered looking at it and then buying the second one online as it’s $150 cheaper.

    That's awful!! This is why we went with a local jeweler, they are so much more helpful than big box stores. My E-ring got bent at work and cracked, it is a thin band therefore I need to not wear it to work and be gentle when I do wear it. I took it to our jeweler and she not only is going to fix it, but she gave me silicone rings to wear to work complimentary. She is also going to help us with wedding bands this winter. She actually suggested I get a larger wedding band with high quality fake diamonds so I can wear my wedding band to work and not worry about it getting damaged. I hope you were able to find a solution to your wedding band woes!!
