Just venting: so indecisive!

Yall....I am getting closer and closer to the 1 year mark (getting married 10/10/20) and the closer it gets, the more I'm struggling with decisions. I guess because I can't change my mind to closer it gets? FH is no help. He has no opinions. My friends just hype me up and agree with whatever I say...

FH is no help. He has no opinions.

My friends just hype me up and agree with whatever I say (which is nice but I want someone to really tell me if I'm being too much or too weird or if it doesn't look good!)

My family is no help either.

I'm struggling between doing more generic wedding stuff or being really personal and realllly incorporating me and FH into it, even if other people don't get it or understand what's going on or whatever.

Like right now, I'm trying to design my STDs and invites and stuff. I did the cutest invite that looks like a harry potter chapter (got the idea from someone in a local bridal group I'm in). Our 'theme' is literary/antique. I love to read, FH is very old school and loves antique cars and stuff. But what if no one gets that its supposed to look like a book chapter and they just think I wrote some weird paragraph on a paper? I want to do paper flowers from our favorite books (well his fav movie is a stephen king novel so I'd use that as his). I want to do our first dance as this dance from my favorite TV show (which he is totally fine with and it's very ME to do that, but will everyone else think it's weird? Do I want to look back and be like hmm my first dance was kind of dorky? Do I care that it's dorky?)

Also, part of me wants to go more generic so that I don't feel like I have to explain EVERYTHING I'm doing to people who don't read or like the stuff we like or family members I'm not super close with (but I have to invite, so that's non-negotiable).

I attached a picture of the invite I wrote. Not 100% sure on the wording yet or if I'll even use them because I can't decide!

Any advice or words of encouragement? How did ya'll decide on stuff like this?

Did anyone come to your wedding and question stuff that was there (like if you had a harry potter theme wedding and someone came that is not familiar with harry potter?)
