So... I can't wear my poofy dress because alterations are too expensive and time consuming to make my wedding date. I bought 2 high low dresses because that was a style that I always loved; I could return either of them if I didn't like them. The first high like, a white one came with a broken zipper. The second one, in blush was too small. I decided to return both and wear my after party dress that I bought long before Covid - even though FH had seen it before.

I initiated the return of the white one then hoped to lose weight before June 2021 so the blush could be used for the after party.
The return was messed up and they sent a new dress with a zipper that works. And it fit perfectly - no alterations. Then for fun I tried on the blush and I'm within a half inch of it fitting. That means I

Isn't it! As per above - I have a blush one too! (Shakes head). So, now it's which one to choose. But, I love the vibe of it so much - but they are really simple and I have no idea how to accessorize dresses that have no detail to use as a starting place. This is the blush one... This sounds like so much fun!!!! I was thinking about posting small snippets of things from the day... Flowers, fabric... just odds and ends... Until I post an entire photo that has all the "pieces and parts" in it... Does that make sense?

The blush is gorgeous too! That's a tough decision. I think since it is so simple, you could go a few different ways!

Adding a belt? statement earrings? Maybe a veil with some floral details? Pearls? You'll actually get to show off your shoes!

I think once you find one accessory you really like, it'll be easy to find others to go along with it!

That sounds like lots of fun too. I was just so excited to tell folks as I had been holding it in for 2 months while we planned. They all knew we moved the big wedding to next year so this totally surprised them.

The blush will clash with the guys ties. I checked. I love it, but I don't think it will work without changing other things. Smiley sad And I don't know how many things I want to change - again. We're 2 months out...

    Thoughts???
