We had the option of using the organist affiliated with the church and the price was $200. We personally feel that the church's organ sounds terrible. So we decided to look for a string quartet and realized it was a little out of our budget. We didn't want to pay more than $400. Then we found a string quartet that also split up into a solo, duo or trio as well. Both the solo and duo were in our price range. We were a little skeptical of how only two violins would sound playing the songs we wanted. but they sent us samples and they are amazing. We read more deeply into their website and found out that the violinists were highly trained, either having a bachelor's degree or master's degree in music. One or both, are music teachers. They travelled throughout europe playing with orchestras and even were/are member of our local Philharmonic Orchestras. We obviously booked on the spot, couldn't risk losing the date. So excited! Who are you having play at your ceremony?

For those on a budget - & who isn't - we found our trio @ the local college by calling up the music department.

Most will have a 'gig book' & the department serves as a talent booking reps for student musicians of all type.

I know Boston U & George Mason University during my research has some good comments.

We found a guy, who comes highly recommended on the vendor list for the church. He will play both the harp and the organ. Cost was only 295
