Junior Bridesmaid / Flower Girl Dresses - help!

Bohemian, on September 24, 2018 at 2:57 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

I have two girls aged 9 and 10 yrs old who will be in the wedding. They are a little old for the flower girl dresses and may fit into junior bridesmaid dresses as they are around 4' 9." I am looking for a place in Los Angeles to buy dresses for them but it's been tough. Any help here? Or online sites that you had a great experience with? The girls are my daughter and soon-to-be step-daughter they will stand on either side of us during the ceremony. I want to find dresses that coordinate with mine.

Thank you!

I used Azazie for my junior bridesmaid dress! It was perfect and she loved the custom sizing.

I second Azazie. They will send you a sample for $10 I believe.

Hi Molly! I've heard great things about David's Bridal's junior bridesmaids' options. They have many color options and a variety of styles to choose from.

What color are you looking to have them wear? And long or short dresses?

You can view the dresses they offer here and further filter by price, color, style, and more.

I think im going with azazie as well. There are some designers that make junior bridesmaid dresses that match the bridesmaid. I was going to go with bill levkoff. The stores don't carry them there many times but can order. However, the dress cost more than the bridesmaid dresses so i won't be doing that. I know if you can't find a "typical" junior bridesmaid dress, picking from the dress section at a department store Macys, Nordstroms and Windsor around winter formal/homecoming time (sept/october here) will have nice choices. Color selection varies i'm sure.

Thanks, I'll look into these suggestions. The girls want to match my dress as closely as they can, it's very sweet.

I would love to find somewhere in LA that has the dresses so the girls can try them on. It's hard to judge some of these dresses online. I was about to order some we loved online and then I saw photos customers had taken of the dresses and they looked so different. It makes me nervous.

I’ve seen scam reports on it. Type jjs house in google. There are also some YouTube videos and people showing what they ordered versus what they got. I believe it’s a China company. Depending on fabric it may be worth it to some but it’s very hard to tell when just looking at a photo. There will probably be lace dresses in the mall stores for this girls that they can try on. Worse case scenario. Or if you don’t mind going to Santee alley in downtown la. Lots of dress shops there.
