June Brides!

June 5th bride. I'm getting nervous and excited all at the same time. I know nothing is perfect, but I'm praying for a good, fun day.

Congrats June brides… so exciting!! We’re not until October 30th but we’ve been engaged for way WAY too long (since 1/11/19, nearly 3 years) because we postponed a full year. So I’m ready to have that true countdown feeling and can’t wait until October finally gets here 🎉🎉🎉

June 12th! We legally married last year, so some of the jitters aren't there (and my attitude tends to be a lot more, "whatever is going to happen is going to happen") but I'm so excited. We never were able to celebrate our marriage with our friends or realize any of our wedding day vision, so having it all come together, be so close, and feel so tangible is really nice!

June 19th here! We are finalizing things with the venue tonight and then finalizing things tomorrow with the DJ. Florist is allset, officiant is good, cake is set, photographer is allset. I know all the big stuff is done now its all the small stuff I keep going over and over in my mind. I'm just so afraid of forgetting something. Lol

June 19th here. I’m sad to say that I’m just bummed about the whole thing. We planned a destination wedding, and had 34 guests coming as of February last year. Then, the pandemic happened, we postponed a year and ended up eloping on our original date of June 20th. In the meantime, all of our guests except three canceled so it’s just going to be a nice dinner on the beach. I’m still wearing my dress and we still have a photographer taking pics. The worst part is that many of the people that were coming and canceled are now vaccinated and I think they were worried about traveling, now, many of the restrictions are lifted. Second time bride and groom here; it feels a lot like our 2nd time getting married isn’t really special for anyone but us.

June 5th! This weekend!! I’m so paranoid I forgot something! I just don’t know what....

June 13th!! I am definitely getting nervous..... I feel like I SO much to do with so little time!!

Wedding is this Friday June 4, and I am so excited and so dang nervous. It is 3 in the morning and I cannot sleep too anxious and cross checking lists upon lists in my mind. I just cannot believe after 17 months our day is really almost here🤭🤭

With the planner in me over obsessing and people still canceling(still as of this morning), it's been A LOT!! BUUUUT, WE ARE AT THE HOME STRETCH LADIES! WE GOT THIS!!! June 12th! I'm feeling a little disappointed that a lot of people we invited can't come (we couldn't send out invites to them until after the CDC social distancing policy changed because our venue couldn't fit very many), but I'm glad that the most important people will be there! Now just working on finishing up decor plans and various small details.

June 12 bride here! We decided to live-broadcast our wedding to our 350+ guests, and are doing Zoom breakout rooms as a virtual receiving line! Sent out "celebration kits" to our guests with a candle and a cocktail mixer & recipe card so they can have a more interactive experience. We now have friends from every corner of the country and the world who will be able to join us for our big day!

Later that evening we'll be gathering for intimate backyard lasagna party on our family's farm here in Northern California for our reception. It feels like we're getting the best of both worlds! I feel like the luckiest woman alive.

June 12th right here! Soooo much anxiety! Still sooo much to do! I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling this way! Makes me feel more like a normal person than a nervous wreck! Hahahaha!


This has been a LOOOOONG time coming! Together for 10 years, engaged for 7, WE'RE SOOOO READY!

We’re in a similar boat: I feel a bit guilty for limiting the guest list so much knowing now that we’re mostly vaccinated and could definitely accommodate more guests.
