Our wedding date is coming up and with everything going on we are really just stressing about what to do. We have a second date booked for October 1 which I am grateful the venue allowed us to do. We have been debating whether to just put it off completely until next June. This is really just unbelievable. What’s everyone else with NJ June weddings doing??

We had our date set for 9.26.20 but because of everything there no way to get things done our venue let us change the date so we thought it would be best 10.9.21 is our new date honestly it took some stress off because of everything we didn’t want to really push it to far but it what was best! Best wishes!!

We are July 25th too. We haven't postponed but I did think yesterday that if we do I am not sure I feel safe even doing it later this year. It's so hard to know what life will be like in July or beyond. A month ago I was so confident my date would be safe, but as the weeks go by my confidence is wavering a bit. Having a backup isn't a bad idea.

I almost wish I could change it to next year. The venue isn’t sending out dates for 2021 yet until they see how the rest of the year will go. But I do think it will take stress off to change it especially with planning a shower and bachelorette and stuff. Good luck with everything!

I agree! I was convinced things would be better but I’m not so sure now. I took so long to start getting everything ready, everyone was yelling at me lol and then January came and I started getting so excited and finished all my decor and flowers and now this happens 👎🏻 Fingers crossed everything works out for you 🤞🏼 The back up is nice, but my soon to be SIL is having a baby the week before and there were barely any dates left for the rest of the year so I just keep hoping the original date works.

I’m June 26th and we haven’t postponed or canceled as yet. We were staying hopeful but now debating if we should just move it to next year. We do want to get married on our date still though and do a vow renewal/celebration next June.

    Hi Courtney,

This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! It seems like a lot of June brides are waiting a few more weeks before making postponement decisions, but everyone's situation is different and it never hurts to be proactive about plan b!

You also aren't alone right now! ❤️

There are a ton of June brides also talking about their Covid-19 concerns in these discussions:

June and July Brides do not stress Covid-19!!!

I'm so sorry you had to change your plans, but I'm so glad you've locked down a back up date!! BOpClAR83wqJF1bFtFERgypV_BICZsbBvwcIMhTa

Stay positive and hang in there!! You've bought yourself a lot more time and hopefully more peace of mind!
