June 2020 Brides!!

My wedding is June 19th and although I have not yet postponed my wedding I have come up with a plan B.
Where are you guys in this situation? Have you postponed your weddings or are continuing as planned?

Also, my honeymoon cruise was canceled by Carnival (luckily!!! I didn't want to get a cancelation penalty fee) so my FH and I were thinking of rebooking for a later date but I don’t know when for. September hurricane season starts and then they are saying COVID may come back in the fall...i’m soo sooo disappointed with how this all turned out.

My wedding is supposed to be June 13. Still haven’t made a decision yet...it’s so hard too especially when I don’t know.

I live in NC. I’m waiting till the end of April when the governor has to make a decision about what comes next. I have a plan B, but hoping I don’t have to resort to it. Just want my dream wedding to happen😞

Our date is June 20 in Texas and we’re going to wait until end of April/early May to make a decision but I think we are going to try to keep the date since we were already planning on a micro wedding . Our honeymoon is up in the air since it really depends on what our travel agency decides to do (they’ve only postponed through the end of May). We’ll probably rebook for next spring or summer if our honeymoon gets postponed.

I know 😞. I feel so defeated myself. Our wedding was for August 22nd and we already called all our vendors to cancel. We don’t know what to expect....

I think things would have started looking up by August. Why did you postpone hun? I was thinking of postponing my reception and honeymoon to August/September as my plan B.

It was a decision we made due to the fact that my fiancé is not working due to this whole ordeal... it was also due to speculation that things would maybe only just be getting better by August and many people may still be at risk. I didn’t want that lingering over our head so we just went ahead and canceled... idk at this point

    Hi Yvana,

This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! It seems like a lot of June brides are waiting a few more weeks before making postponement decisions, but everyone's situation is different and it never hurts to be proactive about plan b! You are already ahead of the game.

There are a ton of June brides also talking about their Covid-19 concerns in these discussions:

    June 2020 brides: freaking out?

June and July Brides do not stress Covid-19!!!

I'm so sorry you may have to change your plans, but I'm so glad you have a back up plan!! BOpClAR83wqJF1bFtFERgypV_BICZsbBvwcIMhTa

Stay positive and hang in there!!
