We postponed the big celebration until next July. However, we are still getting married in a friend’s backyard with a handful of people. We are older, second marriage for each of us, and we didn’t want to wait a year to actually be married. I am wearing my dress, he is wearing a tux, we will take formal photos, and we will post a video. We are disappointed but at the same time, we know how lucky we are to have found each other, to have friends willing to host us, and to be healthy when so many others aren’t.

Wishing all the other July brides the very best.

We reduced our guest list and changed our reception from a hall to my FMILs backyard but everything else will be the same.

Keeping our date, but had to change where we are getting married. First it was Hawaii but had to cancel that due to the quarantine, then it was South Lake Tahoe on the California side and had to cancel that because California isn't allowing gatherings yet, and now we have a venue booked for the Nevada side of Tahoe and we are so excited to have a spot booked and can still have our wedding!

Got engaged May 31st 2020 and are planning to move in together at the end of July. We knew we wanted a small wedding because we’re paying for it ourselves. And since both of our families are more traditional, we figured why not get married before moving in! Our wedding date is July 31st 2020 and our state has become very relaxed about gathering limits and opening things up. We will have 35-50 people, mostly family. I’m a tad disappointed it’s not more but I think it’ll still be fun and magical!

We are so far fortunate enough to keep our venues, vendors, and our entire guest list of about 150. However, we have made some alterations such as adding food servers to the buffet, taking away the dance floor to space out the tables, and seating guests 6ft apart in the church. (Our venues are very large) We have also taken out the receiving line, but overall we are proceeding as planned.

Keeping our original date (7/13/20)! Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, while reception will be inside to allow more room for social distancing. We have a total of 100 guests and luckily our venue in the state of SC has allowed that many people. We live in NC and the state has yet to increase over 50 people gathering inside. I’m so relieved because postponing was never an option.

We are having a family only ceremony that will be livestreamed to Facebook on our original date of July 18, then postponing the reception until October 9.

Postponed to February. Our church has too many restrictions that we aren’t happy with.

We are not postponing our date July 18th I don’t mind if it’s 50 or 200 guests it will still happen. We have been planning our day for the last 4 years.
