July 1 wedding here! I have my dress, we are booking the venue Saturday, we booked the photographer and the makeup artist. My mother is working the cake angle. I'm doing my own flowers- dyeing and arranging Sola wood flowers. Save the Dates have been sent out. Figuring out favors and invitations, but I have time. The venue includes catering. The biggest piece I'm still trying to figure out is the DJ. Looking for someone reasonably priced, but I've never done this before, so I don't know what a good price is.

Getting married July 21' and have booked everything except for the florist, I purchased my dress, shoes and accessories, my fiancé has purchased his suit and accessories, we've blocked out hotels, already taken engagement pictures and sent out Save the Dates, wedding website is complete and people are starting to RSVP, our wedding party is starting to purchase their attire for the day and we're planning our honeymoon. The main things we have left is purchasing décor for the ceremony and reception and choosing our songs. I'm so excited and can't wait until our big day!

July 2021 bride from Long Island, NY! Feeling hopeful but still a little anxious regarding the NYS restrictions in place for wedding venues. We are still at only 50 person max weddings and the minimum I had to guarantee for my wedding venue is 200. Praying things will get better and venues will be able to open up to 50% capacity soon. At this point, I am still planning everything as if I will be able to have my 200 + person wedding. Already decided that if we can’t, we will still have a small wedding ceremony on the date and will just have to postpone actual reception. Too much money invested to cancel and I LOVEEE to dance so cannot have my wedding if there’s no dancing allowed.

I got engaged in January of 2020 and booked my date and venue back in March before anything got shut down. I booked my photographer and had my engagement photo shoot done in August (they will be doing my wedding too). Booked dj who will also be the same vendor for my photo booth. Booked hotel block and after party at the hotel. Got my dress. No need for florist since my mom is a DIY craft queen and will be doing all my centerpieces. I plan to use sola wood flowers for bridal bouquets and boutonnières! If you haven’t heard of wood flowers before, check them our! They are absolutely gorgeous and last forever. I plan on hiring someone through Etsy to make them for me. I have an idea of the colors I want for my bridesmaid to wear but not certain yet until we go look at dresses. Plan on doing that sometime next month. I just finished getting all of my guests addresses together for invitations to be mailed out. I would like to have my save the dates sent out by the end of this month. Hoping that there will be some good promo codes after Thanksgiving before I purchase them (likely will use Minted). I created my wedding website and hope to start building a wedding registry soon. Still feel like there is so many other small details left to plan. At this point, I’m moving full steam ahead and just planning everything as if I will be able to have my 200+ person wedding come July. Plan b is we will still get married on our wedding day but will likely postpone the reception to a later date. We have too much money invested that we would likely not get back so cancelling the venue is not an option. Praying for every bride and groom that have to deal with these stressful times. 😘

Yes, so far I haven’t gotten any no’s. I think it may work out in our favor since that’ll be the start of the holiday weekend.
