Our wedding is July 2021 in Hawaii and as of right now they are only allowing 5 people for social gatherings😭

We have just about everything already planned, mostly paid and now we have to just wait and potentially lose a lot of money.

Ours is in Hawaii as well! What island are you getting married on? We are going to Honolulu. We have bought our airline tickets but really don't have anything else completed. I'm a little worried Hawaii won't happen.

Ours is in Oahu at Kualoa Ranch! We have a zoom meeting with our coordinator next week to talk more about it.

I also have the feeling that they won’t be allowing more then 25 people by then. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼

That's my wedding date also. I postponed it from 7/11/20 to that date. Basically everything is done. Just praying we are free enough from COVID to have at least 100 guest!! I am in MD

OMG. I was getting so nervous reading all the other comments and seeing how far along they are with a July and August wedding date. We have the venue, I have my dress, we have the Dj and I did my bridesmaid proposals. Still so much to do.

    Hello and Congratulations to everyone!

I am impressed with how far along everyone is with their planning. i got engaged in October and we have a July 2021 wedding date. We have our date, venue, Dj and I ordered my Wedding Dress! We are in communication with a photographer and caterer, but we have not finalized yet. I did my bridesmaid proposals and we are going dress shopping in February. After reading everyones post I see we have so much more to do. My finance wrote a song about us getting married and we did a video for it last week. The video along with photos will be part of our save the dates that will go out this month. That is as far as our planning goes, so much left to do.

    Hello,

Are venues offering virtual tours? We had a few here in Chicago off virtual tours until they opened back up for in person.

Yes, I hope my girls feel comfortable. I sent out an email for everyone to save February 20th for dresses shopping and lunch. Fingers crossed Covid numbers will go down and my girls will feel comfortable getting together. I reached out to one bridal salon to schedule an appointment and they only allow 4 people in a group, my wedding party has 7 people not including me with all different body types. I really need everyone there. Glad to here the day went well, did you say yes to the their dresses?

    Hello,

Sorry to hear you had to reschedule, my cousin rescheduled her wedding as well. It went from July 2020 to December 2020 and now March 2021, hopefully her March date will go through. My wedding is scheduled for July 2021. I see you have a lot to still plan, did you have to completely cancel everything you had planned in November including the venue? Just trying to get an understanding Just in case things are not better in July.

    Hello Everyone,
Our wedding is booked for July 3,2021. We have book all of our vendors except the florist. Also, I’m looking for my wedding dress now, which I think will be the most challenging considering how picky I am with dressing. Lastly, I’m praying this pandemic be a little more under control safely wise, with the direction from our government updates. If not, we will have to scale down our wedding guest list.

Hi everyone! July 2021 Bride here. What a process this has been. We booked out caterer, DJ, florals, photographer, and venue all last August. However, per our state's Covid restrictions, it seems as though we will be having a mini-mony and reception and pushing our big party to July 2022. We are waiting until the end of April/beginning of May to see where the state is at. Here's hoping everything will improve and we can proceed with our 50% capacity plan instead of 25%. For reference, we originally had 130 people, cut it down to 75, and then to 32. Being a veteran of the wedding industry, I knew to make sure all of my deposits were transferable/covered by a force major clause. Fortunately, all of my vendors have been fantastic, feeling very lucky.

As for my wedding party, we have six bridesmaids & six groomsmen. My sister is acting as our officiant and my matron of honor (so 7 bridesmaids if you count her as well). Dresses purchased from Birdy Grey and suits rented from Generation Tux. The swag bags for the ladies are goin to be Fabulous!

    Mini-mony plan:

We will have our immediate family and wedding party present and will get married at our venue but will have a small reception at the boutique hotel nearby where we all will be staying. After the reception, the wedding party will go out for drinks and then my FH and I will revel in newly wed bliss in our suite. Honestly, I was sad about it at first but the big relief there is that it's smaller and I have the people who are MOST important to me present.

And yes, I will wear my wedding dress again in our big party the year following, and perhaps have it dyed pink for a fun twist!

Good luck everyone! I wish you all happiness in your nuptials!
