Hi guys!

I don't know why i haven't utilized these forums sooner, but i need help!

I'm working on attendant gifts and i want to get our nephew an engraved football. All this time I've been calling him my second "ring bearer". However he's 11 and won't be carrying a pillow - feel like he'd look ridiculous. Can i change his official title to groomsmen or jr. Groomsmen? I've done some reading and people are saying Jr. Groomsmen aren't a thing they're just regular groomsmen. Also, i don't have anyone that can walk with him. Is this okay? BTW - my 5 year old is my actual ring bearer.

This is only becoming an issue now because his title needs to go on his engraved gift.

    Sure! I'd say Jr. Groomsman. As far as no one to walk with, I don't think that's too big a deal. He can walk with your ring bearer or by himself or with a bridesmaid or 2. Are you doing a unity candle or sand ceremony or anything? Maybe he could carry up the things for that if you want him carrying something.

    If junior bridesmaid is a thing, it follows that junior groomsman is a thing.

    You can call him whatever you want! Either Groomsman or Jr Groomsman would be fine, some people use Jr Bridesmaid for young bridesmaids and some just call them Bridesmaids so for Groomsmen it would be the same. The title really doesn't hugely matter. And it's totally ok if he walks in by himself.
