Jewelry - thinking of wearing a bracelet

We'llAlwaysHaveParis, on January 15, 2013 at 1:19 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 23

But how will this look in pictures if I'm holding my bouquet. Is it too much? I'm trying to google for images and not coming up with much.

I'm planning on wearing a brooch/pearl bracelet and earrings. I think a necklace would be too much around the neckline of my dress.

I've never heard of a bracelet looking bad either. Unless...are you stacking them up to your elbow? Smiley surprise LOL just teasing. I'm sure it'll look great! Smiley smile I've seen lots of pictures of brides wearing bracelets, and the bracelet is more like an extra little something than overwhelming.

I will be wearing a very blingy bracelet. My gown has a halter/sweetheart neckline, so don't want to distract from that with a necklace. I had planned on som dangly chandelier earrings, but 2 weeks ago, the piercing in my left ear broke all the way through, so can't wear earrings at all. I am having it fixed on Friday by a plastic surgeon, but will need 6-8 weeks to heal BEFORE they re-pierce it. Unfortunately, that means I will most likely be wearing piercing studs for the wedding. Hope I can at least find some CZ ones that will be a bit sparkly.

The neckline of my dress has too much going on for a necklace, so I'll be going the bracelet route as well. You could try just a simple yet elegant pearl bracelet if you're worried about it being "too much"!

Brides are not supposed to wear a watch, so put a bracelet on that wrist! That way, when you look at your "watch" out of habit, you'll be looking at your bracelet instead of a bare wrist!

You can wear a simple and delicate bracelet that complements the dress! I don't think it'll be too much at all!

I wore a bracelet. It looked good, in my opinion. I wore an antique gold bracelet that I inherited.

Yep. I'm wearing a bracelet made from an antique fork as my "something old". I'll also be wearing a pearl bracelet or two on the other arm. I am always wearing a lot of bracelets, so I would feel weird if my arms were bare Smiley smile

I wore a bracelet...i was unable to find a necklace i liked (that wasen't hundreds of dollars) so i went with a bracelet to add a little more bling....i love it. Only bad thing is it kept catching on my lace dress but i still loved it.

a couple randoms pics...both were captured in between posed pics but they show the bracelet the best. (the fabric around my arm in the first is from my train for hanging it, worked great for holding it off the ground)

I'm wearing a bracelet and it's my something blue. My FH bought a swarvoski crystal bracelet when he was in Austria (where swarvoski is from). I never wear it since it's somewhat fancy for me so it's perfect for the wedding!

Edie, love your bracelet. Where did you get it? There is a guy who has been buying flatware at our antique shop to make jewelry! I had only ever seen rings and couldn't imagine he was making that many rings. Maybe he's making bracelets like yours.

I think you should definitely add a lil bling. Wether it be big or delicate I think it will look great , its what you prefer.
