We met 6 months after we both moved to Denver. Kevin lived in the mountains and moved to Denver the same weekend I moved to Denver from Chicago. We met on a dating website after searching for our favorite band. We had plans to meet up that weekend at a show at a local venue, but it didn't happen. So we met for drinks the following Wed. We hit it off immediately. We made plans the next couple of days which included our first kiss at Charlie Brown's, a local piano bar. About 2 1/2 months into our relationship, and after the 'L" word made it's debute, I had a bad skiing accident that lead me to surgery and being forced to move into Kevin's apartment on the first floor, from my 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. After about 6 months of living in a one bedroom apartment, we decided it was time for a house, with a yard, and a dog. Something Kevin had in his plan since moving to Denver. And we did just that, bought a house, got a dog, and then came the ring in May of 2012. (He asked my dad at Christmas 2011).   So here we are....planning a August 2013 wedding
