So I've found a bridesmaid dress that I am absolutely in love with and after hours of searching online, I can't find anything I like more! It's the Jenny Yoo Annabelle dress. So I've found a bridesmaid dress that I am absolutely in love with and after hours of searching online, I can't find anything I like more! It's the Jenny Yoo Annabelle dress. It's made out of tulle and it's convertible so you can wear it in a few different styles which I think is really unique. I want the dress in blush pink but I like the one shoulder style like the picture.

How much is too much to have bridesmaids spend on a dress? The dress is $260 on bhldn.com. My wedding is out of town so all of my bridesmaids will have to pay for two nights in a hotel room already so I feel like it's too expensive. I've showed them all the dress and they all love it and say "it's your wedding day! I'm willing to spend whatever!" but I'm not sure I have the heart to make them spend that much :/

I also have this dilemma. Thinking it would be more affordable for them, I gave them the option to pick their own dress as long as it was some kind of purple and long. We all went dress browsing last weekend and they fell in love with the same dress that was $220.00 after discount. They're going with the dress they loved, which I'm totally fine with since I'm not too picky. But I feel bad that they are spending a lot of mula.

My girls paid max $140, but most only paid $100. DB is the way to go if your girls are on a budget. If you're paying for the dresses then they can have whatever they want.. but that is a hefty bill.

I guess if they said they don't care then that's that. I would probably have a stroke though lol..especially if I had to pay for the hotel as well. Mine paid about $150 and I paid the same for a friends wedding that I'm about to be in.

Kristen- I LOVE those bridesmaids dresses! Yall look amazing! I forgot we got married on the same day Smiley smile

I think it's too expensive. I also think this is a quest where you need to know your BMs and budget. If someone came at me with a $260 dress I'd tell them I couldn't afford it. I was very cogniscent of my girls spending. The dress I chose is $50 and can definitely be worn again. I think anything above $150 is steep.

U don't think the dress is pretty enough for that cost. Have you Googled cheaper places that sell this dress? It's pretty basic so I think it should be available elsewhere for cheaper. I would say anything over $200 is to much especially if they have to travel and book hotel rooms.

Personally, I think its too much money. Plus they will need alterations. Its not like they'll be able to wear this dress again.

Dang, after reading these comments I don't feel so bad for choosing a $160 dress for my girls anymore.

I think it's too much. Once you consider, flight or gas to get there, hotels, if they have to leave work to be there early, make-up, hair, shoes, dress, alterations, etc. All of this can add up really fast and I wouldn't want to put that much pressure on people...no one wants to rock the boat or feel like they are letting their friend down on "their" day. I would try to find something else.

I was in the exact same situation! I fell in love with this dress but it was way too expensive for my girls. What I ended up doing was ordering them all from separate sellers on eBay. It is a popular dress so new dresses are posted on there in many sizes everyday. I ended up getting all 5 dresses off eBay for what will be an average price of $115.00/ girl. Some dresses are brand new some have tiny snags on the bottom that will end up bring removed when hemmed for my short bridesmaid. It worked out great for me but it just depends on what you are comfortable with.

I chose the same dress for my bridesmaids. I also felt guilty about the price tag, but in the end I couldn't find anything I liked more! If your BM don't have a problem with the price I say go for it. Plus I love that its convertible and all the girls can wear it how they feel comfortable.

This dress is really pretty and will be great for bridesmaids. You are also right, it will be expensive!
