It's starting to feel real!

Congrats! I love the cute pictures of you guys. For me, it got more real when we picked up our invitations. It felt like "oh we're really doing this". I love them though!

Sending out our invitations and picking out our wedding bands definitely made things feel more real for us. FH says it still hasn't really "hit" him yet, but he thinks it will like the week of or when we go get the marriage license.

Sending out Save the Dates was definitely one of those moments for me! Another one was just last weekend, when I had my first dress fitting with the seamstress doing my alterations! Just to have a stranger see me in my dress, and comment on it, and tug, pull, and pin it gave me such an overwhelming feeling! It was as if the whole thing was just a fantasy until that moment. It was kind of surreal! But awesome!!

I think sending out Save the Dates was a moment for us. The coordinator also sent me a sheet at one point telling us how full the room block was. Seeing people book rooms for the wedding made it feel more real, because it's like wow people are traveling in for the wedding. We have a lot of out of state guests coming in so that's part of the reason.

Everytime we book a vendor I get that feeling. Last night we were on the phone all night with the will you be a bridesmaid or groomsmen (4 of those calls,) we asked a friend to marry us, and got the ball rollin for a photographer. It was a lot of that feeling all night. Cant wait for the feeling to come again for changing my name. (Likely two weeks before wedding, so we can do that on his birthday)

Sending out Save The Dates was also the moment for me - made it feel more "real". I'm excited to go wedding band shopping for FH and also go wedding party outfit shopping! We are waiting to do those until it gets a bit closer

Super cute. Congrats. When we were planning, what made it feel real to me was when we started making deposits for everything. Unfortunately we had to cancel our wedding and will probably just plan an intimate ceremony this time around.

I feel the same way!! We just sent our save the dates out for our June 6 wedding which felt like a really big milestone. Some of our family and friends are texting me saying how much they love the photos and can’t wait for our wedding! Definitely a very real and very exciting milestone!

It was when I told my mom n sister on Easter 2019. They love my fh and we're just so happy. Second, when I here my fh talk about the wedding with his friends or family or even when someone mentions it online in his comments on a post and he responds, wow I get so emotional because he's all in with me.
