As always, I love seeing dresses! Was your dress everything you thought it would be or completely out of left field? I never would have imagined i would get a ball gown, but it was love!

    A picture of my mother and I right before our ceremony. My dress was the first one I tried on at the bridal shop, and I fell in love with it Smiley smile Had to have my sparkles! My aunt made the veil for me. Also, all of your dresses are beautiful!

    A&J there were a few short-dress ladies here before, like King, but I haven't seen any short dresses in a while!

    Here's mine. Not doing a veil though and I'm adding some blue and silver beading to the side where it gathers (in with the existing embellishments).

    I want to redo my mom's dress. So I am going to see how that goes. First pic is of me in my mom's dress with nothing yet done to it. We will be doing a lot of chopping of the sleeves! The second pic is kind of what I have envisioned for the finished product.

    @WeAreOne0822 Thanks so much! My dress is a Sottero and Midgley, it was from their 2012 collection. I ordered it over a year ago and right after I ordered it they discontinued it so I got probably one of the last ones. I saw that dress very early on in my engagement and loved it so much and had such a hard time finding a place to try it on and then one day I went to a shop, showed them inspiration pictures and they pointed to that one specifically and said they had it and I was overjoyed! It ended up being as beautiful on as it was online!

    Look at all of the gorgeous dresses! I ended up with 2 dresses, while they are both different styles I am pretty sure, Since the the dress picture below needs NO alterations whatsoever, I am going to choose it, just to take the stress off myself. I really wish I had taken some better/more pictures of it that day.
