My dress was pretty much what I expected. I wanted a mermaid style, but I also wanted a dramatic skirt. I might see if I can bring down the bodice into more of a mermaid style, but if it sacrifices my skirt drama that's a no go!

Yaaaaaaaay!!! I never did a post when I found my dress lol. I didn't think anyone would be interested (I was still very new on here and I still have a long time until the wedding. I wanted to avoid getting shunned for purchasing too early) Anyway, here is the dress I bought! I'm going for a vintage old Hollywood look! I have a brown faux fur stole to wear with it since our venue is completely outdoors and it'll be a cold month for us Phoenicians. So like... 60°s lol

I went in wanting a simple lace dress and ended up with this:

If I could wear my dress everyday, I would. Odd thing is..I normally hate dresses.

These pictures are from my 1st fitting. Don't mind the hanging strap, its part of my bra.

As for my hair, It was getting it in the way...so i put it up in a quick ponytail. But day of, i'm planning on having my hair down.

A good friend of mine does wedding dresses out of her home, she was willing to help me out for free when it came to the alterations.
