After all of the covid ups and downs, a postponement, and a wild ride we are actually getting married Sunday!! Our governor had a press conference today and didn’t restrict any gatherings or add any new restrictions that would prevent our wedding so it’s officially a “go”! My maid of honor flies in tomorrow and our wedding weekend will officially be here!


My advice to other covid brides: let go of what you thoughf your wedding would be pre-covid and embrace what it will be now! I have sweat over small things and lost sleep over changing plans but I also eventually gained sight over what was truly important on my day: marrying my best friend. I’m so ready to start our next chapter!

    Congratulations!!! ❤️ I am two weeks out I can’t freaking believe it! I have had a meltdown literally every day for the last week about this wedding - but I’m coming to realize no matter what me and FH will be there, and the important people will be there to witness it, and what matters is we will be returning home as husband and wife. I hope your big day is everything you’ve dreamed !!

    Yesterday, my best friend got married. I was her MOH. I think both of us were nervous, but we were so happy it was a “go” for her as well. We barely slept the night before! Enjoy your day — the girl time before, the anticipation walking down the aisle, smooching your HUSBAND for the first time, and everything else! Congratulations!

    Totally relate! I’ve melted down about 1000x in the last 2 weeks! I feel the last 2 weeks have been more stressful than the last 4 months combined! You’ve got this! I hope your day is wonderful!

    Date twin!!! This is our postponed date and I cant wait! Its been a really stressful week so far but everyone has been supportive and im slowly getting everything together.     Awww Sarah! I’m so excited for you! I’ve been stressing and yet I have let go of so much. My wedding is August 23rd (so about 23 days away) & I haven’t felt as excited bc we basically asked for only our parents to be present. I honestly wanted to share my day with all of those who love us and realize it’s not possible at this time. I absolutely cannot wait to marry my best friend, my #1.

    This quote right here says it all: "I also eventually gained sight over what was truly important on my day: marrying my best friend." - We often forget what's really important and focus a lot on "keeping up with the Joneses" or outdoing them. This is OUR day as brides and the best part of that day is marrying our best friend, lover and soul mate - having others there to witness is often just a bonus.
