I am a firm believer in things happen for a reason - I was previously engaged. I sunk $10,000 of my hard earned money into a wedding that never happened. Thank the Good Lord above that I found out he was cheating before it became permanent.

I am now engaged to the love of my life where everything, decisions and expenses, are shared 50/50. I will never settle for less...

This is my 3rd engagement. My 1st engagement lasted about a year and a half it was fine when we first got engaged we were good, but he was really abusive so it didn't take long for the good and not fighting time to come to an end. Anyways it escalated and I left before it was too late. My 2nd engagement shouldn't have happened but I was dumb and didn't want to admit that he was cheating on me and he was and it lasted for about 3 or 4 months before he left me for a woman he knocked up. In this relationship I really wasnt happy. The first 2 engagements I knew they wouldn't last or if we did get married I knew it would end before the wedding or end in divorce so I'm glad I got out before we got to far into spending money on the weddings. Now this 3rd engagement is like a dream come true. I knew from the moment we met, from the moment our eyes met that he was special. It was like as if my soul upon seeing him was like "oh hey there you are I've been looking for you." He is definitely my soulmate. This is the first time I've been in a relationship and was treat right and I'm finally happy for once. He is honestly everything I had ever wanted in a significant other he's not perfect but perfect for me. So I'm excited to have found the one I was meant to spend the rest of my life with.
