Is there a way to block specific weddingwire users?

Thanks!

Couldn't you just flag them as inappropriate and have them banned?

    Just a thought.

But if they aren't trolls, they just irritate you, that wouldn't be fair to ban them. There are a few users I wish I could block just because they kinda annoy me, but I wouldnt ban them from the site itself.

Block in what way? If someone is harassing you via private message or the guestbook on your profile, I would think you could email the admin about it. Other option would be just turn off your inbox or guestbook.

I don't think so, but like the other ladies said, you can report them or flag them if they are harassing you!

No, I'm not being harassed or anything like that. I just remembered that I started a discussion yesterday about my FSIL and then I later remember that she probably has a WW account, too :-/. I just don't want her to see the post even though I didn't use her actual name. The situation is very unique and if she figured it out, all Hell would break loose.

Your best option is probably to hide the post.

Probably the one time we would recommend to hide the post :-)

Be very careful, because the only people you can block from responding are vendors (but even then, they can see everything you write). There was a situation a few months back in which two family members -- future sisters-in-law, if I recall -- were both WW members. One posted something less than flattering about the other, and the other saw it. If you're planning a wedding at the same time another bride in the family is planning a wedding, be very careful about what you say unless you want to argue it out face to face with her.

Don't post anything here you wouldn't want to be public. Anyone who reads posts here can cut and paste them anywhere.
