Is Rainbow Connection too lame?

I think it's cute (hopefully not Kermit singing it is there a "real" version) Maybe have your dj or whomever is taking care of your music make the announcement that they are gettign ready for the first dance and it is also the first song you kissed to.

If it has meaning to you then do it! Even if you do the kermit version, people will giggle and think how unique and special it is for your wedding and they will certainly remember it instead of being bored during the first dance like it usually is. And I like the suggestion of the DJ announcing that the bride and groom will now be dancing their first dance to the song that they had their first kiss to. Everyone will be saying "aawwww"

Dont think its stupid , We actualy have sponge bobs its the greatest day being played at our recep. not our first dance but when we dance with our little one.Your recep. is a reflection of you guys and if kermit and miss piggy singing Rainbow connection means something to you guys then by all means have it, I would.
