Yes, it's too tight. It's suppose to spin (a little) but that's so that it will slide off easily.

If you need to struggle to get your ring off, yes it's too tight.

It's normal for a properly fitting ring to spin a bit. Also once you add a wedding band to it, it will fit a bit tighter as well. My rings spin a lot less when I wear them both than when I wear just one.

Your fingers do swell at times, so it's good to have a little room. My ring is a little big but that's because I have huge knuckles. It's just one of those things I have to get used to. It's already a size 4!! haha

Your ring should take a bit of effort to remove (so it's not always flying off), but it shouldn't be so painful or difficult to remove. Your ring is too small, and you need to have it resized.
