Long story short...bought a wedding dress, fell in love, since then have gotten some comments about it being "sexy," now I have had constant doubts about me looking trashy, inappropriate, etc. Wedding is not in a church and it is not a religious ceremony, so that's not an issue. I have thought about getting another dress but my mom bought it for me and loves it and I feel like it would crush her. I'm not sure if I'm just self-conscious about other's comments, my own feelings about my body, or if now I just don't love the dress.

I think you look great! I will say that if it's a church wedding it might be a little much, but for anywhere else it's gorgeous!!
Even if it's in a church, just do what @Constance mentioned about lining the sheer portion

I don't think it looks too "sexy" at all! it looks gorgeous on you! it might be a *little* more sheer I'm the back and sides than some dresses, but I think it's very tastefully done. I say rock it!

For those asking, the dress is Allure style 9417. Purchased it at Max Bridal on Long Island
