Is late night snack worth it?

Just wondering if late night snack is worth the extra money or if it's worth spending the money on something else.

Ours didn't cost us more, we just moved one of the appetizers to late night snack. We had jalapeno hushpuppies and they were a huge hit!

I think the late night snack or after bar trend is unnecessary. Allocate the money elsewhere or just save it.

I think it depends on how long the reception goes. If dinner and the late night snack are far enough apart, then go for it.

I know I was a happy camper when those hush puppies came around at @Katy's wedding. My only regret was not having pockets.

We ate a huge BBQ dinner at about 7:00, and put a dozen pizzas out at 11:00 and wondered if anyone would eat them. They were absolutely devoured. Gone in under 10 minutes.

So yeah, to us it was worth it. I always appreciate it at a wedding too - after getting my drink and dance on all night (plus, traditional wedding dinners aren't usually too filling), I'm always ready for a snack!

We have our venue until 1 a.m. And around here, it's pretty common for guests to party right until the end.. so I think a late night snack is a good fit for us.

At 11/11:30 ish, we're having a gourmet grilled cheese station where guests can pick their own bread, cheese, bacon etc and a chef grills it for them.
